Long time and no posts from me!

But I've come to share a new illustrated review that I wrote/drew of Wicked- the musical, which is in my city at the moment (though sadly it is leaving in August, just after its one year anniversary!) Anyway, lots of funny pictures to be found under the cut, so please enjoy! (Though, warning for dial up users/slow internet people, there are lots and lots of images in the review!)


 

Like the title, hello everyone who still has me on their friends list, despite me having not been active on this journal in over 7 months. Sorry! But I hardly have time to sleep these days, let alone actually do internet stuff.
But I do still draw lots in my spare time, and I recently stuck up some newer pics online, so figured I would share them here too.

Does anyone know how I can resize a video for watching online, without losing too much quality?
I have to get my showreel online for my portfolio webpage in the next week, and I am at my wits end. I really don't know how to get a good result?! Any help on codecs ect. would be fabulous! (The video is about 1.5 mins long, and anything under 20 mb would be great...)

This was the second DH fanart I drew after reading the book - however, despite fiddling and tweaking for ages, I just couldn't seem to get it the way I wanted it! But at last, here it is! I figured it was time to let go, and just get on with finishing it - so that I can finish my other DH pics. Seriously, one unfinished picture can zap all my creative desire.
Anyway! Here it is!

Hello all! If you're wondering where I've been these last few weeks - I've been on an almost complete LJ and Harry Potter Internet hiatus...I was so afraid of spoilers that I didn't look at anything even remotely HP related. So, luckily - I was able to read HP without having heard any spoilers whatsoever! Phew!

But...

I can't believe that it's all over! 

No more Harry Potter books! And I've been a fan for 10 years or so now! So it's all a bit sad!
Anyway. 

I was outside K-mart at 9.00 am, the time the book was released in Australia, and was one of the first at the checkout the moment it was released. There was a decent sized group of people - about 30 or so, and I actually recognised some of them from the HBP release! But, anyway - I was home by about 10, and finished the book at 4:30pm. I tried to read slowly this time, to take it all in - but I ended up just getting completely absorbed and not being able to stop until I had finished.
