HP art post - 1 pic and a little comic
Hey! I'm back again, with some new art :3 Aren't holidays great for finally finding the time to finish off all those pics you started ages ago?
Anyway, on to the art :D

Title: 'On the way home from Hogsmeade' + 'Chatting with Tom"

Hmm, a very christmassy style pic :3 Though, for me Christmas is always about sweltering in summer heat, trying to get cool in front of an air con! Hence, my very romantic interpretation of snow...(coming from a girl who's only really seen it once in her life T^T ) Is it even possible to have a golden sunset, and have it snowing at the same time? I hope so :3 hehe!
Anyway, the trio have been stocking up at Hogsmeade - Hermione's bought some books, Harry's got joke stuff from Zonkos, and Ron's got loads of lollies :D



Ergh, I think Photobucket shrunk the pic a little - ah well, long as it's still readable.
Anyway, they were showing CoS the movie on TV the other night, and I caught the last 20 mins... I was watching the scene when Tom was complaining of how he had to be a companion to such a 'silly, silly little girl' and I was thinking...well, yeah most 11 year old girls are pretty silly...that's the age where you use hearts to dot your 'i's when you write, and put glitter on all your school projects...>_>' so yeah...Poor Tom...my heart goes out to you...
Heheh, drawing Ginny and Tom comics is fun...I want to do some more now >:3

Oh yeah, one last thing!
Can anybody recommend me some awesome HP communities to join? I'm still getting the hang of lj, and would love to know some great places to go! Thanks so much ^_^

HP comms? Depends on what you're into. Any ships? Art? Fiction? Icons? Discussion? There's really a lot out there. You can often find them by doing an interests search. That little search thing on the main page, choose 'interests' in the drop down menu and put it in there.

I love the red faces in the first one, and the colors. Something about the sky really appeals to me. The snow is beautiful.

Love the comic too, the thought of Gin talking to Voldemort about something like that is priceless.

As for communities, what sorts of communities do you want to join? Here's a link that lists many HP communities, in a variety of catagories:

The trio pic is really lovely. I love the way you did Hermione's hair and how the end of her scarf is being blown away by the wind.

Poor Tom, having to endure an eleven-year-old's inane prattle!

Aww, the first picture is so pretty and romantic! Love the colors, and the cozy Trio vibes. *glomps*

These are just super. I reccomend [info]hpart, [info]cafhp, and [info]artbeta. Also, try ckecking communities that the art comms are affiliated with.

Wandered over from [info]hp_art_daily..... Yes, that golden color is definitely possible while it's snowing: usually in late afternoon on a warmish day, when the sun is sinking under the edge of the clouds and the warm air is damp enough to catch the light. It's a magical sight, and you did it beautifully! I love your rich colors.

Aaaaaaagh. No wonder young Voldemort was homicidal. Aaaaaaaaagh! *ded of laughing*
